Our award-winning store is located on the border of Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada’s Only Border City. Lloydminster, which we affectionately refer to as “Lloyd” is a hard-working, fun-loving, big-hearted rural community. We live in farm country, we live in oil country, we live in pickup truck and hockey rink and backyard barbeque country.
The Rurka family has been operating Home Hardware Building Centre in Lloydminster, Alberta since 1999. Our store has changed dramatically over the years, growing from a nuts and bolts hardware store into a trend-setting, upscale shopping destination. We have welcomed the addition of a variety of new departments including Home Expressions, Personal Expressions, Gourmet, and everybody’s favourite, the Garden Centre.
Our store has been the recipent of a number of local and national awards, including the Walter J Hachborn Store of the Year award, the Canadian Gift and Tablewares Retailer of Distinction award and the Hardware Merchandising Outstanding Retailer award.
